About

Ashana, also known as AnuVilasini or Aradhana Dasi, is a vocalist and classically trained cellist with a penchant for playing the esraj (Indian cello), harmonium, and keyboards. Her music blends elements of Indie folk, Kirtan, and World music. Collaborating with notable artists like Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, and Lukas Nelson, she infuses her performances with a rich tapestry of sounds. A memorable highlight includes her participation in the creation of an Island Ball at the picturesque Haiku Mill on Maui, where Mick Fleetwood was among the enchanted audience. Currently, she collaborates with Sòma Lúz and offers Kirtan and Concerts on Maui, while also accepting private and public bookings. Ashana views music as a transcendent language, aiming to touch the depths of our hearts and awaken forgotten parts of ourselves. Her music is available on Spotify and other major platforms. Ashana resides with her family in Haiku, Maui, finding solace in the guidance of Swami Rasikananda Maharaj and Sripad Bhaktivedanta Vana Goswami Maharaja.
